So the booty....the booty has been my arch enemy for quite a while. Like no matter what I did, nothing ever seemed to happen to it. Well I guess I shouldn't say nothing....there have been plenty of times that I woke up and it seemed to have deflated over night 😫 ....but I could never seem to make any strides in a positive direction towards growing my booty.
I don't know about you girls, but I love a nice bum!! It has always been something I wanted but found very difficult to obtain. Then I realized...along with many other things and a whole blog series that is soon to come from #MFL....that you just have to be intentional about it and focus on it. If you put in the effort in the right way, the results WILL come!
I've put together some of my favorite booty moves that are sure to get your buns fired up! 🔥🔥
Weighted Squats - x15
Donkey Kicks - x15
Fire Hydrants - x15
Rainbows - x15
Leg Raises - x15
Squats w/lateral Leg Raises - x10
That is one full round. Make sure that you do any single side exercises on both sides of your body to complete the full round. (I only show the left side during the video example).
Rest for 1 minute.
Repeat 2-3 more times for a total of 3-4 rounds.
Things to note:
- On the squats, squeeze your booty at the top
- Rainbows (I made up the name of course 😝) is basically just drawing a rainbow with your leg
- Make a point to focus on squeezing your booty in each move to make sure it is doing all of the work
- Keep your abs engaged
- Try not to stop during the set - you want to really burn the muscle out. If your struggling I would rather you rest longer in between sets instead of stopping during the set. You can also modify the # of reps you're doing if you are just starting out and work up to the numbers I outlined above.
