Ok girls, it’s starting to get pretty chilly here in Dallas so you know what that means right??
ALL of the crockpot meals!! I LOVE that about the cooler weather! Crockpot meals are soooo easy and so warm and comforting to have ready when you come home from a long day.
Last night I made my baked potato soup and it was delicious as always….I mean so so so good. It’s a hit with the whole family, so I thought I would share it here with you girls.
BAKED POTATO SOUP
30oz bad of frozen, shredded hashbrowns
32oz box of chicken broth
26ox can of cream of potato soup
1/2 c light sour cream
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1 1/2 tbsp parsley flakes
1 pkg cream cheese (I buy the 1/2 less fat kind)
In a crockpot, combine everything EXCEPT the cream cheese. Cook on low for six hours. Around 1 hour before serving, add the cream cheese and stir around while it melts. Once its done, you can top with whatever you’d like. I usually add bacon, shredded cheese and green onions.
